Privacy Policy

Verse Bites is designed to collect as little data as possible. You can play every daily game without creating an account.

What we collect

Your puzzle progress, streaks, and stats are stored on your device. To deliver the daily puzzles and understand which games people enjoy, the app also sends a limited amount of information to our own servers:

• A device identifier — a random ID generated on your device (not tied to your name, email, or app store account) so we can sync your progress and recognize returning play.

• Gameplay activity — which puzzles you download and complete, and your scores, sent when you finish a puzzle.

We use this only to run and improve the games. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not show third-party advertising. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or files.

Website analytics

The versebites.com website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not collect any personal data — only aggregate, anonymous measurements like page views. This applies to the website only, not the app.

Payments

Optional supporter payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Supporting the app is voluntary and is not a charitable donation.

Children

Verse Bites is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

All Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible (WEB), which is in the public domain. Puzzle content, game design, and the Verse Bites name and logo are the property of Verse Bites.

Acceptable use

The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app or its puzzle content.

Supporter payments

Supporter subscriptions and one-time tips help cover operating costs. They do not unlock content, and you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time via the "Manage your support" link on our site.

No warranty

Verse Bites is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the daily puzzles accurate and available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always live at versebites.com.
